It's Play-Off and World series Time Again!
Baseball is at it's Best! The New York Yankees and The Los Angeles Angels will meet for the American League Championship and The Philadelphia Phillies will play the Los Angeles Dodgers for the National League Championship.
Baseball is at it's Best! The New York Yankees and The Los Angeles Angels will meet for the American League Championship and The Philadelphia Phillies will play the Los Angeles Dodgers for the National League Championship.

The Yankees have everything going for them. Overall they have a healthy ball club. They are strong at every position. Derek Jeter as Team Captain and All Time Yankees Hits Leader leads the way. His defense is very strong as well. Seven other Yankees have hit over 20 Home Runs and C C Sabbath and Andy Petite and Mariano Rivera provide solid Pitching.

The Angels are led by Valadimir Guerrero and their feisty Manager. Their pitching is good at best and over all I see the Yankees taking this serie 4 games to two.

In the National League I see the Los Angeles Dodgers led by the former Yankees Manager Joe Torres upsetting last years World Champion Philadelphia Phillies in a very contested 7 game series.

As for the Coast to Coast World Seies I see shades of the 1950's (except then everything happened in New York). I think the Dodgers will eke out a hard fought battle and take the Wolrd Series Championship by a 4 game to 3 game margin. Torre will smile with a bitter grin and Joe Girardi will have to wait until next season to try again.
